Hurkmans Transport is an international haulage companylocated in Someren.
We are specialised in transportation & logistical services for dry silo products and bulk products.

Our main activities are:

  • Silo Transport: transportation of granulated and powdered silo products.
  • Bulk Transport: transportation of granulates in rear bulk tippers and other bulk products in walking floor trailers.
  • Logistics: for storage and transhipment of silo products, bulk products, big bags and pallets.

We closely cooperate with our sister companies:

  • Betonal: Trading in building materials and construction materials.
  • Conovation: Delivery and advice in fillers and additives for the concrete industry.

 

History

In 1992 Jan Hurkmans started Hurkmans Transport & Handelsmij BV. The main activities were trading and transportation of construction materials and concrete products.

In the past twenty years, the focus shifted to transportation and logistics. The company has grown to over forty towing vehicles and sixty trailers.

Organization

Hurkmans Transport BV is an international transport company with an informal atmosphere and short communication lines. An enthusiastic team of well-trained employees is ready to carefully fill in your logistics needs. Our Transport Management System enables us to quickly exchange all information to and from our drivers. In combination with a real time track and trace system, we can inform you on the status of your shipment at any time.

Besides our own vehicles we have good contacts with reliable charters to further optimize the transport planning.

The fleet is maintained in our own workshop, where all service and inspections of towing and towed units are carried out by our own people.
